The North Wales Dragons

Not only do we have a passion about creating lasting memories but we also have a passion about doing our bit for charity, so much so that we set up a charity fundraising football team called the North Wales Dragons.

The team was formed in 2009 and is made up of football fans who share our vision that fundraising can be fun, interactive and easily done when it involves something that you love doing.

North Wales Dragons Charity Fundraising Football Team

Every year we choose a charity and try and raise as much funds as possible, by taking part in charity fundraising days.

We have raised funds for Boots for Africa, Help for Heroes and Neves Charities in the past, we have also assisted in raising funds for Clic Sargent Scotland with our dear friends and fellow fundraisers the Ayrshire Outsiders.

1st October 2011 – Our Fundraising Continues:

The Dragons are pleased to announce that we are now fundraising for Cancer Research UK’s “Join the Fight” against Breast Campaign over the next twelve months.

Two matches have been arranged to raise money and awareness for this fantastic cause. The first match will be a quadrangular tournament held in Sheffield and will feature ourselves, The Ayrshire Outsiders, fans and staff of Sheffield Football Club and the fans and staff of Pro Appio of Rome who will be making a special effort to come across and be apart of what promises to be a great day ! This will take place on Saturday 12th May 2012.

The second match will see us making our way North of the border to visit our friends and fellow fundraisers the Ayrshire Outsiders where we will be competing for the coveted Celtic Challenge Trophy, this to take place on Saturday 16th June 2012.

As preperations are made for our fundraising, we will have some fantastic support and welcome for the second year running, Randstad Staffing Solutions who will be our main shirt sponsors.

Also providing their valuable support to the North Wales Dragons in their fundraising efforts is Ruth Lloyd Williams and the valued members of Network She and we will proudly wear their logo on our shorts.

We receive valued support from everyone at British Touring Car Championship Team ES Racing and in particular Chris James and we will proudly wear their logo on the back of our shirts.

Last but not least, we thank Chris Kerry of Recognition Express, who is also a valued Life Member of the North Wales Dragons and will be assisting us for the fourth year running, their logo will also appear on the back of our shirts too.

We sincerely thank all the above for their time, generosity and willingness to be involved with the football team that loves to make a difference.

Our aim is to raise as much awareness as possible alongside our fundraising efforts and would appreciate any support whatsoever, whether it is financial, verbal, written or physical, as any support helps!

You can sponsor us here if you would be ever so kind, we would be appreciative of every penny you can spare.
