A Pretty Good Week

The week went by quickly, alot done and alot of people to thank for their time and effort.

Following the lure and emptyish promise of the odd chocolate digestive or two, Lee Woodford at LGW Consulting came round to see us and gave us some invaluable guidance on this Social Networking stuff. If you get the chance, pop and have a look at his web site or even drop him a line, i know he would be ever so pleased to hear from you.

The next one for a mention is a company called Outperform Training who held a one day Sales Training Course. Now, having never ever done one of these things before i didnt really know what to expect, i had some kind of idea but i was way off the mark … I had visions of someone posing with a a bottle sat in the palm of one hand and a finger perched on the top of the lid, whilst thrusting the label towards you saying something like “Dont leave until they buy”.

As i said, how way off the mark could i have been? Dawn, the young lady delivering the presentation was articulate and quick and had a definite methodology utilising AIDA and was ably assisted by Rachel the Operations Manager, at the end of the day we had learned alot thanks to their delivery.

Another mention goes to Lisa Williams, an illustrator from Colwyn Bay, she has been kind enough to come up with an illustration that shows the connection between two charities, Help for Heroes & Boots for Africa of which we are trying to raise funds for on 19th June 2010. Not only has she come up with an illustration, she has also been kind enough to donate the image to Inner Frame, so that we can do whatever we want with it and for this we are sincerely grateful.

We were supposed to go over to Sheffield FC tomorrow to meet the Boots for Africa Project Manager and the Chairman to discuss the latest situation with regard to the appeal in Wales, however, for the fourth time and due to the weather, it has had to be cancelled.
