Fundraising Event Generates £5104.00 for Charity

Inner Frame were honoured to have organised a fundraising event earlier this year which included our very own North Wales Dragons and are thrilled to announce that the event generated a sum of £5104.00 for Charity.

The charities which have benefited from the money are Clic Sargent Scotland, Neves Charities, Boots for Africa and Buckley Town FC in the Community.

We have so many people to thank who played a pivotal role in putting the event together, promoting or providing raffle and auction prizes, so a big thank you to Randstad Staffing Solutions for being the Dragons main Sponsor.

Also to Speaks Volumes, The Quay Hotel, Clear Reality, Recognition Express, Powlsons Printers, The Ayrshire Outsiders, Sheffield Football Club, Buckley Town Football Club and last but by no means least, the amazing Event Organisers that are Ysbryd-y-Ddraig.

Inner Frame would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved with the North Wales Dragons, particularly the players who collectively raised £1187.00 for Neves Charities.

We have now held three events raising money for charity and to date we have amassed a sum of over £10,000.00.

Turning our attention to the next event, we look forward to raising money for Cancer Reasearch UK’s ” Join the Fight ” against breast cancer. For further details please have a look at our North Wales Dragons page.

Inner Frame Visit Gambia on Red Nose Day

We are totally in awe of what people do on Red Nose Day and the amount of money that is generated and donated every year.As a company, we try and do whatever we can for charity and on the most recent Red Nose Day, two very close friends represented Inner Frame whilst on holiday in Gambia recently.

With their guide, they visited one of the local schools near the Capital, Banjul, and donated books and pens for the children to use.

From the feedback we have received, the teachers and the school children were thrilled and extremely grateful for the donation which of course gives us great satisfaction that we have made a slight difference and also put some smiles on a few faces.

The Teachers and Schoolchildren Gathered Together

We also took the opportunity to explain to the teachers about the fabulous work that Sheffield Football Club do with the Boots for Africa Appeal and how they, together with a little input from ourselves, have gathered a number of second hand football boots together and sent them to the African Nations including Gambia.

North Wales Dragons Update

Our own North Wales Dragons were in action this past weekend as they played a warm up match against Total Tranmere prior to a tournament which they will be playing in on 21st May 2011 as they raise money for charity.

The Dragons lost 4-3 in which was an enjoyable and closely contested game.

We are extremely thankful to both Tranmere Rovers and to Total Tranmere as they have assisted in promoting Inner Frames’ involvement in the Boots for Africa Appeal wherever they can. Most recently they invited us on to their podcast to talk about some of the work that Inner Frame and the North Wales Dragons have been doing in conjunction with the appeal.

You can listen to an excerpt from the podcast here.

Inner Frame Support Boots for Africa via Tranmere Rovers

Inner Frame recently continued their support for the charity Boots for Africa by calling in on old friends and fellow supporters, Tranmere Rovers Football Club.

The club made great strides last year in collecting boots and raising awareness internally through the club and also externally through their supporters.

Following a meeting with Sue Beedles, Commercial Administrator, Tranmere Rovers have kindly agreed to continue their support for Boots for Africa by making a further collection internally and also by making an announcement in the next home match day programme requesting that supporters bring their old unwanted boots to the club shop.

Once again we thank everyone connected at Tranmere Rovers for their assistance in promoting the Boots for Africa Appeal in the North Wales / North West regions.

Fundraising Day 21st May 2011 – Update 3 Sheffield FC

Further to our announcement regarding next years Charity Fundraising Day on 21st May 2011, we are pleased to say that the fourth and final team participating in the inaugural Anglo-Celtic Shield and raising money for the Boots for Africa Appeal www.bootsforafrica.org will be our dear friends, the worlds oldest football club, Sheffield FC. www.sheffieldfc.com

Inner Frame has much to thank Sheffield FC for, it was they who allowed us to become supporters of their Boots for Africa Appeal and get into the whole spirit of helping in the community sector which we feel we have now embraced totally.

Sheffield FC have collected 27,504 pairs of unwanted football boots to date, 22,873 pairs have already been shipped to various parts of Africa already. All money raised goes toward the logisitics of getting the boots from the previous owner to the proud new owner in the third world.

So, there you have it, the line up for the inaugural Anglo-Celtic Shield are as follows:-

The North Wales Dragons (Raising money for Neves Charities), The Ayrshire Outsiders (Raising money for CLIC Sargent, Scotland), Buckley Town Football Club (Raising money for Buckley Town FC in the Community), Sheffield Football Club (Raising money for the Boots for Africa Appeal).

Within the teams there will be a few surprises along the way as some ex-professional footballers will be dusting off their boots and taking part in the event, we welcome them with open arms and look forward to having them with us, further details to be announced.

As you can imagine, setting up a project like this comes with its own tasks and demands so, If you would like to help with the organisation of the event in anyway, we are always grateful to anyone who can lend a hand, in whichever way possible.

Unfortunately, as mentioned before,  these events cannot be run without sponsorship, so if you are aware of anyone who would like to become sponsors, please would you be kind enough to put them in touch with us.

We are on the lookout for match sponsors, ball sponsors, event sponsors, sponsor of the Anglo-Celtic Shield, programme sponsors, so as you can see, any assistance will be sincerely appreciated. oh and please dont be shy in coming forward !

It is believed that the day will generate alot of interest from both local and national media, particularly having the oldest football club in the world involved and as a result we feel that any sponsorship will be beneficial to the businesses or individuals.

If you wish to be kept updated on progress towards the fundraising day, please subscribe to the blog (top right hand corner) and you will be updated as and when all the announcements are made.

Thank you so much for your interest.

Fundraising Day 21st May 2011 – Update 1 Ayrshire Outsiders

Further to our announcement regarding next years Charity Fundraising Day on 21st May 2011, we are pleased to say that the second team out of the four participating in the inaugural Anglo-Celtic Shield will be fellow fundraising friends of the North Wales Dragons, the Ayrshire Outsiders of Scotland.

The Outsiders have been visiting Wales over the last two years and have helped in raising money for the Boots for Africa and Help for Heroes Appeals, in 2011 they will be raising money for a charity that cares for children with cancer, Clic Sargent Scotland.

To give you an insight into what the Ayrshire Outsiders do to assist in raising money for these charity’s, they give up their time to travel to and from Scotland to Wales, they bring their wives and girlfriends, they pay for their own food, pay for their own coach hire, their petrol, their own accommodation and raise individual sponsorship on each player, and i for one am in awe of their dedication and commitment.

So, If you would like to help with the organisation of the event in anyway, we are always grateful to anyone who can lend a hand, in whichever way possible.

You knew this bit was coming, but unfortunately, these events cannot be run without sponsorship, so if you are aware of anyone who would like to become sponsors, sponsors of anything at all, please would you be kind enough to put them in touch with us.

If you wish to be kept updated on progress towards the fundraising day, please subscribe to the blog (top right hand corner) and you will be updated as and when all the announcements are made.

Finally, when you get five minutes, please have a look at the Clic Sargent Scotland web site and have a browse, it will then become apparent as to why Inner Frame are pleased to organise and be involved in events such as this and why we are glad that the Ayrshire Outsiders are coming back to Wales.

Fundraising Day – 19th June 2010

Just a quick blog to update everyone on how the Fundraising day went on 19th June 2010 and are pleased to announce that through the North Wales Dragons and the Ayrshire Outsiders, we raised a sum total of £2633.82, so well done to everyone who either participated, supported, donated and assisted in putting the day together.

The amount raised was split equally between two charities, Help for Heroes and Boots for Africa, who have both received their donations with sincere gratitude.

We are now about to start planning for next years event, so should you wish to get involved in any way, please come and have a chat with us as we would love to hear from you.

Business Fundraising

Its Saturday, its absolutely slamming down with rain at the moment and has been raining constantly for the last few hours, our cat isnt impressed at all as he has been out all night chasing them illusive bats !

I have always loved the rain, i suppose when you have always lived in a place where it rains more than any other kind of weather you get used to it, anyhow, i digress.

I have been up and about so early as i have a million and one things to do, however, i have just one pressing task to perform, the other million can wait until later.

So here we go … My apologies if you have read this on so many occasions … On Saturday 19th of June 2010, Inner Frame are holding a Charity Fundraising Day in aid of Help the Heroes and Boots for Africa.
This is the last weekend that we can promote the Event Sponsorship Draw for Businesses and in all honesty, it has been slow and we still have a number of draw tickets available, alot more than i had anticipated.

I know next year to plan the draw earlier as we have faced major competition from Sport Relief, fantastic efforts have been made by people to support such a worthy charity.

Support for Haiti has also been at the forefront of peoples money raising priorities, again, another worthy cause. That was a tragedy that couldnt be accounted for as you never know what life will throw at you next.

That is typical for the servicemen and women serving in Afghanistan, they are aware of the risks but from one day to the next they never know which way their luck will go, one chap i knew used to have a saying “It depends how the mop flops”.
I have no desire to go into anything deep and heavy, i would just like for you to spare a thought for the people who’s mop didnt flop kindly.

We are also promoting fundraising for the Boots for Africa Appeal, a different charity altogether but still a cause that is worthy of peoples time, effort and financial support.

Being in business myself, i understand how tight finances can be, however, if you have been fortunate enough to have had a good week, month or year then please would you consider spending at least £25.00 on a draw ticket.

If your business gets drawn at the Imperial Hotel, Llandudno at 4.00pm on Tuesday 23rd March 2010, then your company name will be emblazoned across the front of the North Wales Dragons football shirts as they play in the fundraising football match.

Being so late in the day, there is no need to do any form filling, just message me in anyway possible and ask for your name to be included, we will fill in your business details and enter it in the draw, just pledge your donation accordingly and we will collect the money from you later.

If you dont win, your business details will still be included in the match day programme.

There are now three months to go until the fundraising day itself, so If you feel that there is some other way that you would like to be involved, by volunteering to assist us or undertaking individual sponsorship rather than business sponsorship, perhaps you would like to be sponsored at something? Please come and have a chat with us, message us, call us, whatever, you will always be appreciated, you would have fun on the way and also find the whole experience rewarding.

Thank you for your time in reading this.
