Poppies of London framed

The Tower of London poppies were a breath taking sight to see. Commemorating the outbreak of World War 1, the art installation known as the Blood swept lands and seas of red, was placed outside of the tower from July to November 2014. Consisting of 888,246 individually created poppies representing a member of the fallen they were designed by Paul Cummins while the display was created by Tom Piper.

We were thrilled to have another of these poppies come through our door with the customer asked for help with the design which we are always happy to do. After coming up with a mixture of displays, the above design was finalized and chosen. The deep framed box was finished off in a mat black frame, with black and white mounts holding the logo and certificate of authenticity.

Earlier this year we also had another request for a framed poppy to be made. Finished in the same mat black frame but this time with an off white and red mount, the customer requested that the original stem remained with the poppy which certainly makes the display stand out.

If you have a poppy you would like displayed, send us an email and our design team will be more than happy to help.
